Dianas Bath, Delaware Water Gap
Beginning at the bakery: Make a left at the traffic light onto rt. 611 south. Go to the top of the hill, at the Dear head Inn turn right onto Mt. road. Go about 300 yards and make a left onto a narrow paved road. The parking lot is only 100 yards in. Walk up the path past lake Lenope about 1/2 mile. make the first right turn you come to; go a few yards, stop and listen, you should be able to hear Diana’s bath of to your left. Walk through the woods to the brook and enjoy the beauty of it.
Slateford Farms, Slateord
Beginning at the bakery: Make a left at the traffic light onto 611 south. Drive 3.6 miles to National Park Drive, make a right. Go .8 miles and bear left just before the gate at slateford farms. Continue another 1/8 mile and the park will be on the left by the trailhead. (next to several large rocks) Follow the brook downstream to the falls area. (only 3oo yards) Do not continue down stream unless you have proper hiking boots, the trail is steep and slippery and leads to a fantasy like ravine.
Note: on the way home find “cold air cave”. It is on rt. 611 between the point of the gap parking lot and Arrow island overlook parking lot. A real treat in the summer time. There are no signs. The unpaved parking area identified by a stone wall with a 3 foot wide stairway.
Small Brook with small water falls near the parking lot
Beginning at the Bakery: make a left at the traffic light onto rt. 611 south. go about 1/2 mile out of town and pull into the scenic overlook on your left. This small Falls area is across the street. It is not a large area but is easy to access with well worn paths, no hiking involved.
Dignman’s Falls- Fully handicap accesable
Beginning at the Bakery: turn right out of the parking lot and drive .4 miles and make a right onto river road and go 11 miles to intersect rt. 209 north (make a right) Travel north on rt. 209 to johnybee road, signs are very clear (make a left). Road ends at the falls. Beautiful large falls 1/2 mile through the woods on a wheelchair suitable trail that is enviomentally friendly. Restrooms available.
Raymond skill Falls
From Dingman’s Falls go back to rt. 209 and continue north about 5 miles, watch for signs to the falls. Restrooms available.
